LETTER: Like seats belts, car insurance, vaccination a needed mandate
To Ozaukee Press:
It is time to stop tolerating vaccine hesitancy. If it takes mandates to get the unvaccinated shots, so be it.
The unvaccinated brought this new wave on themselves. The facts are evident.
Society mandates children are vaccinated before entering school. Seat belts, auto insurance – all mandated. Yet a highly contagious virus that is impacting society and our economy right now is somehow separate from other mandates.
Those who did the responsible thing by getting vaccinated are sick and tired of a minority and their lame excuses and ignorant reasons. Would those hospitalized who are unvaccinated rather be stuck with a huge medical bill, if they survive, than getting a free vaccine that would save their lives and those around them?
