LETTER: Rethink Blues Factory ‘stupidity,’ buy back site for the public

It’s time to reanalyze the stupidity of the decision makers who supported the Blues Factory and sold public Port Washington lakefront land to a golden boy developer.         

The site overlooking the north slip of the marina is a prime piece of open space that could enhance the livability of the densely developed marina district and allow for thoughtful planning of traffic flow and pedestrian safety.  

It’s time to realize that open space and thoughtful planning are what our future generations deserve.  

Buy that property back for the public or, if developer won’t sell, condemn it.
