LETTER: Poll workers know more about elections than former justice

To Ozaukee Press:

Am I surprised that Attorney Michael Gableman, while leading a review of the 2020 Wisconsin election, has finally fessed up to the fact he doesn’t understand how elections are supposed to run?

And this is Assembly Speaker Robin Vos’ handpicked attorney to head the review?

I was a poll worker for many years. Believe me, I didn’t do it for the pay. I did it as my patriotic duty. Apparently Gableman isn’t aware of the work involved in an election, like documenting write-in votes for Mickey Mouse and Adolf Hitler.

It scares me to think that Gableman was a Supreme Court justice for the state of Wisconsin. Maybe justices should have to pass a cognitive test before running for the Supreme Court.
