LETTER: Note to politicians: We’ve had enough of your bad behavior
To Ozaukee Press:
Cry babies, plagiarizers, liars, hypocrites. Reality TV show? No, it is our former and new state government.
We have the cry-baby Republicans who didn’t get their way for governor and now decide that the governor has too much power.
Walker makes a deal with Kimberly-Clark to keep jobs in Wisconsin, but signs into law a bill that takes away that power from the next governor.
Cry-baby Walker and the Republicans have given the voters of Wisconsin the middle finger.
The incoming governor plagiarizes parts of his budget proposals as state school superintendant.
When I was going to high school, I was told that that was wrong.
I would like someone from the teachers union to defend the decision to let the teacher who was caught watching porn on school computers keep on teaching.
We have the new lieutenant governor who likes to host Victoria Secret lingerie parties.
We keep hearing that character counts, but only if you’re a Republican.
Let’s pray that 2019 brings us civility in government and both parties can work together at the state and federal level to solve our problems.
I know that is a lot to ask of our officials, but the voters spoke in November and our votes should be respected.
Not everyone liked the outcome in November, but that is the way our government works.
We have the power to change it.
Let’s hope they respect that.
