LETTER: With no sway over Trump, Ryan and others in GOP jumping ship

To Ozaukee Press:

Wonderful news that Paul Ryan will not seek re-election.

After all, this is the same person who after former President Barack Obama was first elected president vowed to not cooperate and to enlist obstruction at every opportunity.

Republicans are abandoning their posts because they have zero ability to solve problems in this country and have zero sway over an out-of-control president. 

I hope when the midterms are over the smoke will clear and maybe, just maybe, sanity can start returning.
