LETTER: Neizke proven to be effective leader Port needs as mayor
To Ozaukee Press:
Ted Neitzke as mayor would be a huge win for the City of Port Washington. A lifelong resident and super fan of Port, Ted exudes endless enthusiasm and focused energy for our community.
His extensive professional collaborative planning and smart fiscal management experience with the education, non-profit and business sectors will greatly help the city in its strategic planning. His volunteer leadership in more than 20 organizations, including being a United Way campaign chair, Riveredge Nature Center president and past Port Washington Common Council president and alderman further demonstrates his commitment to public service.
Ted will serve as a true steward of Port Washington. He communicates with residents, business owners and community leaders about their vision for our city. He encourages active group participation and achieving goals in a timely manner. Working with the Council, he will help ensure sound zoning, policy and law.
The role of mayor is formed by decisions ideally made by someone who represents the collective views of the community. This is Ted in daily and professional life. He will strive to guide our financial and natural resources with the public’s input in a respectful and engaging manner.
