LETTER: Merry Go Fish lured $45,000 for Possibility Playground
To Ozaukee Press:
Thank you to our Port Washington community for raising $45,000 for Possibility Playground improvements and additions this year with our Merry Go Fish fundraiser.
The success of this effort would not have been possible without the generosity of these supporters: the Port Washington High School woodworking class; the artists and sponsors of Merry Go Fish; Ozaukee Press and SAILING Magazine; the Port Exploreum for showcasing our 25 Merry Go Fish entries; Joann Stade, who the first donation of $1000; Shirli Flack who wrote a $25,000 check; Port Washington State Bank and Kiwanis with contributions of $5,000; and the individuals who purchased one of the finished Merry Go Fish.
This was truly a community project, and we are so proud of those supported it.
