LETTER: At last, we have a president who fights government fraud

To Ozaukee Press:

Every politician running for office makes the same claim: “When you elect me, I will eliminate all fraud, waste and corruption.”

I’ve been on this earth for 81 years. I have never seen it happen until now. It seems we have a president who not only made that pledge but is doing something about it. He created the Task Force to Eliminate Fraud led by Vice President JD Vance. First, they expanded the probe on $19 billion Somali scam operated in a childcare nonprofit in Minnesota. Then they found a $267 million hospice scheme fraud in Los Angeles where 21 people were arrested.

How many presidents have said Iran is a threat to America. Here are some facts: four U.S. presidents—Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Joe Biden —formally promised or attempted to stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, often through sanctions, negotiations or threats of military actions. These leaders maintained the decade long policy that Iran could not be permitted to possess a nuclear weapon. But nothing ever happened until now.
