LETTER: How sick is this? The president of U.S. bullying a teenage girl

To Ozaukee Press:

Recently a 16-year-old girl from Sweden named Greta Thunberg was named Time magazine’s Person of the Year. The reason for the honor is that this young lady with Asperger’s syndrome has been traveling the world speaking out on climate change and trying to get people to take it seriously before it’s too late.

This did not sit too well with a certain insecure individual who happened to think he deserved this award. The president of the United States decided he should take to Twitter to bully this teenage girl because that’s what his base would expect him to do.

I think every person in our country should find it sick and very troubling that a 73-year-old man would bully a teenage girl out of jealousy. Where do people draw the line on this deeply disturbed individual? The White House staff even superimposed his head on her body on her picture on the cover of the magazine.         Melania Trump’s big project as first lady is taking on cyber bullies. I think we all know where she should start.

The world needs more Greta Thunbergs and fewer Donald Trumps. Not one person of right mind should ever accept this behavior in our president.
