LETTER: How can county leaders ignore vaccination shortfall at Lasata?

To Ozaukee Press:

The ability to evaluate information and make sound judgments using analytical skills should be basic to the leaders of our community, especially when that decision affects the vulnerable.

It was so disheartening to read there are so many unvaccinated caregivers working at Lasata.

I don’t understand how the OzaukeeCounty Health and Human Services Committee members who rejected a proposal for a bonus to incentivize the unvaccinated did not open a discussion to find a solution to the danger the unvaccinated caregivers pose to the residents.

One cannot be studying the data and the science and conclude that no action is required.
