LETTER: Government is shut down, but lies keep coming from Trump

To Ozaukee Press:

Trump has again showed how incompetent and ignorant of the truth he is. Several weeks ago he went to Afghanistan to visit our troops. All he spoke of was blaming the Democrats for not supporting his wall.         

Then, to top that, he shuts down the government and leaves federal workers with no pay checks to pay their bills. He then has the gall to say that Republican federal workers who voted for him would rather see a wall then receive their pay checks. What a joke!

Finally, Trump gave a speech from the Oval Office spewing his usual lies and, of course, blaming the Democrats. His words again were meant to spread fear among the American people.         

How much worse can it get? Mr. Trump, resign now or face impeachment.
