LETTER: Food truck event helped the effort to end food insecurity

We send out our thanks from the Saukville Community Food Pantry to all those from the surrounding communities who came and supported our Food Truck Frenzy on Oct. 9. Support for the event and our organization is what allows us to do the work we do here in Ozaukee County to alleviate food insecurity.

Special thanks to our sponsors, My Choice Wisconsin and the Port Washington -Saukville Rotary Club.

With the food trucks that served hundreds of people to the bands that kept those in attendance entertained, this event was a great success. This has convinced our board of directors to make this an annual event as we continue to grow our programs to serve the people of Ozaukee County.
