LETTER: Don’t vote for activist judge who would suffocate liberty

To Ozaukee Press:

 There are two candidates on the ballot for Wisconsin Supreme Court, one a Milwaukee Circuit Court judge, Rebecca Dallet. 

Political activist judges like Dallet salivate to strongarm the political landscape, fashioning it to their peculiar ideology. Regardless of one’s political leanings, activist judges suffocate liberty for all people. In Wisconsin we need judges to be a benefit to Wisconsin families, not political causes. 

The second candidate is Michael Screnock, who responded to the Wisconsin Family Council that his role as a judge and that of the court is to apply the rule of law and not to legislate from the bench or rewrite the law. 

 Rebecca Dallet cannot be trusted to further liberty or to keep Wisconsin families safe. A vote for liberty to continue to grow in Wisconsin is to vote for Judge Michael Screnock on April 3.
