LETTER: In Congress, Smith would be beholden only to the people
To Ozaukee Press:
At the LWV forum at the Cedarburg Cultural Center Oct. 20, Brad Smith answered questions clearly and with sincerity. He has traveled throughout the district listening to the rural and suburban peoples. The message he hears over and over is about the challenges the economy creates for Wisconsinites. The tariffs for the farmers and small businesses add another barrier to trying to make a go of it. Health care costs and the ability to afford groceries and gas have increased stress for so many.
Brad gets it. If elected, he will go to Washington D.C. to work for his constituents, not the president. He is an everyday person in Wisconsin.
Brad continues to provide opportunities for the people to hear about what he believes is a path forward in dealing with the economy, health care and education, along with how to deal with security for our nation. He is beholden only to the people.
I hope you join me in voting for Brad Smith, a people’s representative who is very present in our communities.
