LETTER: Children murdered at Mass: When will we put guns away?
To Ozaukee Press:
While attending the funeral visitation of for a 100-year-old lady last week, I heard
about a school shooting where children were murdered during Mass.
When will we put the guns away?
As school starts for this academic year, let us commit to safety for our kids, to allowing them to be taught history as it really was, to honor those who devote their lives to our schools, to display kindness, to embrace feeding the poor, sheltering the homeless and simply caring.
Remember school is starting. The children are coming.
