LETTER: Cabinet of sycophants heaps fake praise on great leader

To Ozaukee Press:

It is time for us to acknowledge this one transparent truth: The people in Donald Trump’s inner circle are not talented, good people. By the time anyone manages to gain Trump’s trust and favor they have been fully vetted for absence of character and basic decency. Loyalty, to Trump and Trump alone, not the Constitution, is their one essential surviving trait.

Cabinet meetings have become little more than fawning rituals of deification—like so many decaying suns orbiting a gigantic black hole. The closer they get to Trump the more they are being irretrievably stripped of any remaining better angels they may have once possessed.  

There’s something pathetic about watching presumed adults jockeying like children for approval by heaping pretend praise on the great leader.
