LETTER: Antoine’s record makes clear he deserves re-election as trustee

To Ozaukee Press:

I’m writing to urge voters to re-elect Dave Antoine as Grafton village trustee.

Dave has lived in Grafton for 33 years and has served as trustee for eight years.  During that time he has worked diligently to take Grafton into a secure future. He has focused on village growth while maintaining fiscal stability and a balanced budget.

He has also worked to develop quality affordable housing to bring young families to Grafton along with intelligent development downtown and in the south commercial districts.

He works effectively with the Grafton Police and Fire Departments to keep the village safe for everyone.

Dave has been honored with many civic and citizen awards. These reflect his hours of selfless devotion to many causes in Grafton and Ozaukee County, including big Brothers and Sisters, Ozaukee Family Services, Grafton Lions Club and Grafton holiday events.

He has the experience, insight and steadfastness to take our community past petty political maneuvers to concentrate on the real issues that make Grafton an affordable, safe and desirable community for those of us lucky to already live here and for young people looking for a good place to live, work and play.

It’s important to vote on Tuesday, April 2. It’s also important to vote for Trustee Dave Antoine.
