LETTER: Answers needed about free college, Medicare for all, taxes

Just a few questions from an independent voter:

When I hear that “the rich aren’t paying their fair share of taxes,” what exactly is their fair share?

What exactly is a democratic socialist and in what countries have socialist policies worked?

Why should I pay for your college? I paid for my children’s college education. Would I get a refund or tax credit for doing so? What about people who have set up 529 plans? What happens to this money?          

What about people who have paid off their student loans? Do they get a refund or tax credit?

When I hear that the government should take over health care, can anyone provide examples of when a massive undertaking by the government has actually improved services and came in on budget?

If Bloomberg spending $500 million dollars couldn’t make him a viable candidate, how could Russia spending less than $1 million dollars affect the 2016 election?
