Legion honors good citizens

Just before completing fourth grade at Ozaukee Middle School in Fredonia this spring, Ozric Weisenberger (front left) and Olivia Miller received Citizenship Awards from the Landt-Thiel American Legion Post in Saukville, which were presented by Post Commander Denise Jamrozy (back right). Also on hand was Principal Lynn Kucharski (back left). The awards are presented by Legion posts throughout the country to boys and girls who exemplify six qualities that define character — courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship and service.
