Learning what it takes to lead a city

Port Washington Mayor Ted Neitzke (far right) talked about his job leading the city to six fourth-graders from Port Washington schools who served as mayors for the day on May 18. The mayors included (from left) James Kucharski, Skylar White, Charlotte Chapman, Lucas Boldig, Greyson Zastrow and Brooke Dorfler. In addition to touring the new public safety building and Vantage Data Centers Lighthouse Campus, the young mayors unveiled special street signs outside Thomas Jefferson Middle School and Lincoln and Dunwiddie elementary schools.                                                                      Photos by Sam Arendt
