Leaf printing, yoga classes offered by parks department
The Grafton Parks and Recreation Department will host a leaf printing class for children from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4.
The event will take place at the Zaun Pavilion in Lime Kiln Park.
Children ages 6 to 11 will learn how to create one-of-a-kind leaf prints, using real leaves, brayers, rollers and paint.
Participants will create two prints, which include a fall leaf card face and an 8.5-by-11-inch print. The fee is $10 per child.
Pre-registration is required due to limited class space. Those interested can register by visiting www.graftonrecreation.village.grafton.wi.us or call 375-5310.
The department will also host yoga classes in the pavilion from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays from Oct. 14 to Jan. 13.
Participants are required to bring their own yoga mats and either a blanket or towel.
The fee is $46 for village residents and $54 for nonresidents.
There will be no classes on Nov. 25 and Dec. 23.
