Lauren Ann Bartelt

PAID OBITUARY

Lauren Ann Bartelt (nee Verbanac) of Saukville was born to eternal life in Mequon on July 5, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.  She was 69.

Lauren was born to life on Jan. 23, 1949, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Raymond and Loraine Dombrow Verbanac.

She was the beloved wife of Ronald for 24 years; dear mother of Thomas (Cheri) Rosandich Jr., Michael (Marjie) Rosandich, Angela (David) Meihsner, Kara Mentch and Margaret (David) Brown; stepmother of Angela Johnson and Jeremy (Julia) Bartelt; and is survived by 13 loving grandchildren.

Lauren was the sister of Marjorie (Frank) Oszuscik, the late Raymond Verbanac and Dale and Brian Verbanac; and sister-in-law of Robert (Barbara) Bartelt.

She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1619 Washington Ave., Grafton, from 3:30 p.m. until the Mass of Christian burial at 5:30 p.m.

Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Grafton, will follow the Mass.

Lauren was a licensed practical nurse. She was very active in her parish's (St. Joseph) bible study group, the after school care program, quilt guild and the wings prayer group. She was also active with the Red Hat Group and 4-H, and was a former leader with the Brownies and Cub Scouts.
