KUDOS: Christmas on the Corner

Port Main Street would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who was involved in making this year’s Christmas on the Corner a huge success. Hundreds of happy families turned out on a beautiful night to celebrate Christmas in downtown Port Washington. This would not have happened without the great work of the volunteers and businesses that generously donated their time to this annual event.  

We received many positive comments from families who enjoyed the window decorating and treats from the businesses, cookie decorating and ornament decorating, live reindeer, wagon rides, a visit from Anna and Elsa, live music, Elf on the Shelf scavenger hunt, a wonderful parade, fireworks and, of course, Santa.  

Thank you also to the students from Port Pride, the Boys Scouts, police department and Main Street volunteers. Thanks to everyone who participated, the 2020 Christmas on the Corner was a joyous celebration of our community and its families in keeping with the spirt of this wonderful time of the year.
