King named CEO, executive director of Balance Inc.

Balance Inc. announced last week that it has named Malorie King CEO and executive director of the Grafton nonprofit agency that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

King joined Balance in 2022 and served as its human resources director until being promoted.

She has more than 12 years of experience in human resources and management in the healthcare and behavioral health sectors and has played a key role in shaping Balance’s strategies.

“I am deeply honored and incredibly excited to step into the CEO role for this remarkable organization,” King said. “I am committed to fostering an inclusive, innovative and empowering environment where every individual can thrive. I’m dedicated to creating positive change and making a difference in the lives of those we serve.”

King has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cardinal Stritch University and is a Society of Human Resources Management certified professional.

King succeeds Jordan Luhr as CEO.

Stephanie Casper has been named director of human resources. She joined Balance in March.

Founded in 1991, Balance Inc. supports more than 150 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
