Kiddos helping kitties

The first service project for the Cedar Grove-Belgium sixth-grade science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) class entailed making cat toys and scratching pads for the Sheboygan County Humane Society. “The SCHS was thrilled to receive so many wonderful cat scratchers and toys as they go through so many cat scratchers and they stay with the same cat the whole time,” teacher Mary Beth Desens said. “While it took a few days to complete the project, students enjoyed creating something for the animals.
