Kevin Lee

Kevin Scott Lee, 50, of Port Orange, Fla., passed away on Oct. 31, 2021, after a hard-fought, four-month battle with liver and kidney failure.
Kevin was born on Feb. 8, 1971, and adopted by Alfred and Arlene Lee in Milwaukee, Wis.
After Kevin graduated from Port Washington High School in 1989, he went on to begin studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
A hiatus from studies brought Kevin back into the gymnastics community (a sport he enjoyed as a child), and he coached at LaFleur’s Gymnastics in Menomonee Falls for about 15 years.
With determination to finish his college degree, Kevin returned to studies at UW-Milwaukee and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2008.
In 2008, Kevin was admitted to Florida International University’s master’s in occupational therapy program. After graduating this program in 2010, Kevin worked mostly in skilled nursing facilities, sometimes in the role of occupational therapist and sometimes in the role of rehab director.
In 2006, Kevin married Elizabeth Josephine Hamm for the first time at Jekyll Island, Ga. Kevin and Elizabeth went on to have three children, Adelynn Jean, Nathan James and Derek Hans. Kevin was predeceased by his father Alfred.
He is survived by Elizabeth; his mother Arlene; his sister Stephanie Misko; and his children, Adelynn (14), Nathan (12) and Derek (7).
Kevin was a kind and unselfish man. He loved his children and family dearly. He was an amazing father and very involved in all aspects of fatherhood. He genuinely cared for others, and in his lighter moments he was full of life and genius wit. He will be missed. Kevin’s memory will be honored online at www.mykeeper.com/profile/KevinLee/.
