Kenneth J. Kaiser

Kenneth J. Kaiser, age 66, of Saukville, Wis., passed away surrounded by his wife and children at Lawlis Family Hospice on Monday, April 3, 2023, following a brief battle with cancer.

Ken was born on Oct. 28, 1956, to James and Shirley (nee Bellmore) Kaiser in Milwaukee, Wis.

He graduated from Pius High School in 1975.

After high school, he worked while attending classes at University of Wisconsin-Waukesha.

In 1981, he joined the U.S. Air Force and proudly served his country until 1985. After active duty, he became a loadmaster for the 440th Airlift Wing Flying Badgers, serving in the reserves until 1992.

Ken met his wife, Deann (nee Luisier), in 1990, and they were joined in marriage on Nov. 2, 1991, in Port Washington, Wis. Their marriage was blessed with two children.

Ken was a craftsman at heart and made his living and supported his family by working with his hands. He took great pride in meticulously working on the exteriors of homes for the majority of his working years.

Ken and Deann loved nothing more than to spend time together or with their children. He took great pride in their home and their yard. They loved to travel together, spend evenings grilling and listening to music on their patio or enjoying cold beer at a local restaurant on their Friday night date nights.

Ken is survived by his wife of 31 years, Deann, their children Nicholas (girlfriend Elizabeth Siever) and Amanda (boyfriend Johl Turzinski) and his faithful furry friend Bailey.

He is also survived by his siblings Debbie (Dave) Thornton, Kurt (Julia) Kaiser, Keith (Patty) Kaiser and Kraig Kaiser, his father-in-law Irvin Luisier, his sister-in-law Debbie Luisier, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Shirley, his mother-in-law Dolores and his brother-in-law Dennis.

A funeral service for Ken will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 16, 2023, at St. John Lutheran Church, 217 N. Freeman Dr., Port Washington, Wis. 53074. The Rev. Dustin Anderson will preside. The family will receive visitors at the church from noon to 2 p.m.

Ken will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery in Saukville, Wis.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the people who took care of and supported Ken over the past couple of months, specifically to the staff of the CICU and 12T at St. Luke’s and to the staff of Horizon Lawlis Family Hospice. Your compassion and support for both Ken and our family did not go unnoticed and will not be forgotten.

The family would like to suggest memorials to either St. John’s Lutheran Church in Port Washington, Wis., or to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight in honor of Ken, his faith and his patriotism.
