Kenneth Bronson

Kenneth W. Bronson of Grafton, 69, died at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee on Sunday, May 19.

He was born in Lake Bronson, Minn., on March 29, 1950, to Kenneth and Alvina Bushie Bronson. When he was five, the family moved to Grafton.

Mr. Bronson worked for the City of Cedarburg Parks and Recreation Department. He was also quite the handyman around the house, his family said.  

They also said Mr. Bronson “loved life and everybody in it, and his laugh was easily recognizable and laughing was his oxygen.”  

Mr. Bronson enjoyed hunting, fishing and trap shooting.   

Mr. Bronson is survived by his wife Mary of Grafton; son Joe (Shannon) of Fredonia; and sisters Effie Johnson of Fredonia, Judy Albert of Waubeka and Kathy Bronson of Badger, Minn.  

He is further survived by sisters-in-law Karen Gruenewald of River Hills, Beth (Ron) Peterson of Grafton, Gayle (Bob) Bierman of Saukville and Arlette Wangen of Big Lake Minn.; and brothers-in-law David (Meridi) Woltring of Saukville and Brian (Joyce) Woltring of Random Lake.  

Mr. Bronson was preceded in death by his parents, brother Efford Wangen and sister Delvina Hinden.  

A private burial service was held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Grafton.      

A celebration of life gathering will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at the Milwaukee Ale House in Grafton.

 Memorials to charitable organizations in Wisconsin and Minnesota in Mr. Bronson’s name are suggested.  

Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton is handling the arrangements.
