Justin Kriegel

Justin Kriegel, age 30, passed at home in Cedar Grove, Wis., on Feb. 18, 2021, after a hard and long fight with an immune system disorder.

He was born Jan. 25, 1991, in West Bend, Wis., to Tina Goeden and David Kriegel.

Justin spent much of his life battling autoimmune disorders. We are heartbroken he never knew exactly what disease caused his illness. Through it all, Justin remained positive and uncomplaining. His beautiful heart and dry sense of humor touched many people who will never forget him.

Justin loved football more than anything.  He had one of the best throwing arms you’d ever see in a kid. He had undying loyalty for the Indianapolis Colts and would watch games from years past in the off-season.

Justin loved to rock out to Five Finger Death Punch, Falling in Reverse, I Prevail and Metallica. A great memory is the front row seats at the Three Days Grace concert.

He had many good times at Finn McGoo’s in Mequon and met some very wonderful people that remained his close friends.  Summers in Cedar Grove were filled with bonfires, enjoying the companionship of his stepbrothers and multiples of friends. There was much Jameson drunk and so many happy times created.

He is survived by his mom Tina Kriegel; his stepfather Tim Benson; his dad David Kriegel and his girlfriend Dianne Budd; his brothers Ryan and Cole; and stepbrothers Kyle and Tyler. He is further survived by grandparents Armand and Ruth Goeden of Grafton  and  Joe and Judy Kriegel of Abrams, Wis.

There are many others that Justin loved, both relatives and friends.

Justin was preceded in death by his sister Amanda and his uncle Mike Kriegel.

Services were held Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Poole Funeral Home, Port Washington, Wis.
