John Follet Donahue
John Donahue, 61, of Coon Rapids, Minn., died Nov. 27, 2020, at his home surrounded by family.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date due to the current coronavirus restrictions.
He was born Jan. 2, 1959, to Thomas and Jacolynne Donahue (Stiehl) in Algoma, Wis.
He grew up with family and friends in Grafton, Wis., where he built countless friendships and enjoyed life to the fullest. It is there that he met his wife and best friend Margo. They were married for over 36 years. John was a devoted father and great family man. He enjoyed sports with his sons, camping and family get-togethers.
John worked for many years in the chiropractic repair and service business with friends and colleagues. His work brought him to the Minneapolis area in1988 where he raised his family. He eventually opened his own repair and service business, successfully covering the Minnesota region.
John is survived by his wife Margo; sons Josh and Brian; mother Jacolynne; brothers, sisters and (spouses): Terry (Kirk), Tom (Jeannie), Dave (Vicki), Jim (Susie) and Judy; in-laws Ron and Nancy Balde and Rita McCarthy; brothers-in-laws Brian (Susan), and Kevin; and nieces and nephews Bobby (Amanda) and baby Rory, Tom, Brittany, Sarah, Erin and Jack.
He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Donahue, brother-in-law Tim Hoffman, brother and sister-in-law David and Molly McCarthy and father-in-law David McCarthy.
