John “Jack” Beeckler

John E. “Jack” Beeckler, 85, of Austin, Ky., passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.

The Milwaukee, Wis., native was a retired sales account executive for EcoLab, a U. S. Army National Guard veteran, member of Christ the King Catholic Church and an avid woodworker who built sets for the Far Off Broadway Players in Glasgow and fabricated many furnishings for Christ The King Church. 

He was a son of the late John Howard Beeckler and Marie Chudy Beeckler, born on April 25, 1936. 

He is survived by his wife of 56-1/2 years Diane Beeckler of Austin, Ky.; one son Jeff Beeckler of Cleveland, Ohio; one daughter Laura Macri and husband, Joe of Cottontown, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Cody Stinson and fiancee Jordyn, Seanna Macri and Savanna Macri. 

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. 

A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Tom Buckman officiating and cremation to follow. 

Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the service. 

Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
