Jacquelyn Kaltenbrun

Jacquelyn M. Kaltenbrun, age 68, of Port Washington, Wis., passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Kathy Hospice in West Bend, Wis.

She was born Dec. 11, 1953, to Wilmer and Arlie Conrad Medinger in Port Washington, Wi.

A lifelong resident of Port Washington, she graduated from Port Washington High School.

Jacky married Glenn Kaltenbrun on May 3, 1974, at St. Mary’s Church in Port Washington. They settled in Port Washington and raised their family.

He preceded her in death Feb. 24, 2020.

She worked as a bookkeeper at Bolens Troy-Bilt for 25 years until it closed. She then worked at Ansay Insurance for many years until she retired.

She enjoyed the simple things in life and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children Jennifer (Orlando Ortiz) Kaltenbrun and Andrew Kaltenbrun, both of Port Washington, her grandchildren Jonathon, Douglas and Kaitlyn Sell and great-grandchildren Emmit, Scarlett and Carson.

She is further survived by her sisters Barb (Joe) Neal and Sandy (Linus) Lepak, both of Belgium, brother Mike (the late Sue) Medinger of Oostburg, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Jacky’s life will take place at noon Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Poole Funeral Home/Crematory, 203 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington, Wis. The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 a.m until noon Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
