The Iron Brigade is topic for June 16 talk
“Port Washington and the Iron Brigade: The Sixth Wisconsin and the Long Civil War” will be discussed at Inventors Brewpub on Tuesday, June 16.
The talk by former Marquette University professor James Marten will be held at 7 p.m.
Marten is the author of a book published in 2025 detailing the biography of The Sixth Wisconsin.
He will sign copies of his book following the presentation.
There is no fee for the talk, which is sponsored by the Port Washington Historical Society.
