Ingrid I. ‘Jackie’ Hinze

    Ingrid I. “Jackie” Hinze (nee Franke), 79, of Grafton, Wis., formerly of Harford and Port Washington, Wis., passed away Friday, April 16, 2021, at Magnolia Hill assisted living facility in Grafton.
    Jackie was born Nov. 12, 1941, in Hamburg, Germany, to Adolf and Adele Franke, then taking the Queen Mary to the U.S. when she was 9 years old.
    She was united in marriage to Fred Hinze in Reno, Nev., on Dec. 30, 1978.
    She retired as a custodian from Whitefish Bay High School.
    Jackie enjoyed camping, square dancing, crocheting and spending time with family.
    Jackie is survived by her children Ed (Michelle) Klauck, Deb (Brad) Pepin and Tammy (Craig) Macha. She cherished her grandchildren Sean (Megan), Aaron (Terese), Danielle, Michael (Jen), Andrew (Brittany), Jacquelyn, Jennifer (Marlon), Chad, Harley (Brit), Ryan (Jessica) and Michelle. She was the proud great-grandma of 20.
     She was preceded in death by her husband Fred C. Hinze, stepson Fred L. Hinze; her parents Adolf and Adele; brothers Erich, Guenther and Harold; sister Alma; and grandson Nicholas.
    She also left behind many other relatives and friends.
    Thank you to the Magnolia Hill assisted living and Aurora Hospice for taking care of her in her last days. Big shout out to her smoking buddies Jane and Jackie.
    A memorial gathering will be held at the American Legion Rose-Harms Post 355, 1540 13th Ave., Grafton, WI 53024, on Sunday, April 25, 2021, from noon until the service at 3 p.m.  
    Interment will follow in Waubeka Union Cemetery, Saukville, Wis.
