Honoring student artists
Budding artists from throughout Ozaukee County were honored during the Ozaukee County Fair last week. More than 800 students from schools around the county participated in the student art show, and the winners’ works were displayed at the fair and will be on exhibit at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts in Cedarburg through November. The winning artists were (front row, from left) Cayden Pegelow of St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Grafton, Vanessa Vang and Katherine Leske, both of Donges Bay Elementary School in Mequon, Maia Robinson of St. Francis Borgia School in Cedarburg, Kennedy Bodus of Dunwiddie Elementary School in Port Washington, Delia Demitros of Oriole Lane Elementary School in Mequon, (back row) Lainey Bahr and Owen Frohmader, both of St. Paul Lutheran School, Addison Drumm of Oriole Lane School, and Karista Deuhs of St. Francis Borgia School.
