Home-delivered meal program seeks volunteers

    Volunteers are being sought for the Ozaukee County home-delivered meal program.
    The program delivers a hot, freshly prepared meal to home bound individuals Mondays through Fridays. For some, it is the only nourishing meal they receive in a day.
    The delivery program also provides a safety check for seniors, especially those who live alone.
    Volunteers, who delivered 35,973 meals last year, report seniors are often eagerly waiting for their meal to be delivered.
