Henry Vaughn “Hank” Nask
Henry Vaughn “Hank” Nask of Grafton passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 19, 2024, at the age of 69.
Hank was born and raised in Rye, N.Y., where he attended Resurrection Elementary School and Rye High School. He graduated from Lemoyne College in Syracuse, N.Y., with a degree in labor law.
He spent his early adulthood in Phoenix, Ariz., and moved to Waubeka 30 years ago.
Hank had a successful career as a salesman. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, movies of all genres and a good auction or clearance sale. He loved Las Vegas and the hunt for a video poker royal flush.
Hank is survived by his longtime companion Susan Fry Baker and her daughters Kristy (John) Bores and Avanna Fry, as well as grandchildren Alexander Horton, William Horton and Katelyn Bores.
He is further survived by his sisters Merrillee (Rich) Laudone and Pamela (Vanice French) Nask and brother Joseph Nask. He leaves behind nieces Angelique Babcock and Valeska (Cynthia Mruczek) French as well as nephews Matthew (Elizabeth) Laudone and Mitchell Harrison. Hank came from a large Italian family and will be missed by his great-nieces and great-nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Angelo (Hank) Nask, his mother MaryGene (nee Gironda) Nask McMahon and his stepfather James McMahon.
Private family services will be held for Henry. Final internment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Portchester, N.Y.
