Harold Walsh

Harold J. Walsh of Saukville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.
He was the beloved husband of Ellen (nee Rohloff) Walsh; loving father to his children Cynthia (Richard) Marks, Diane Walsh, Donald Walsh and David Walsh; and stepson Patrick (Brenda) May.
Harold is survived by his siblings Judene Walsh, Carl (Verna) Walsh, Geri (Larry) Walsh and Dorothy Bergin and sister-in-law Eileen (Ron) Bloemers.
He is further survived by his four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Sophie (nee Schmitt) Walsh; first wife Luella (nee Pfrang) Walsh; sister Pauline Walsh; brother Bernard Walsh; sisters-in-law Janice Walsh, Bonnie
Walsh and Joan Walsh; brother-in-law Mike Bergin; father and mother-in-law George and Barbara (nee Guse) Pfrang and brother-in-law Delyle Pfrang.
Harold was an Army veteran who served during the Korean War. Harold was also a 60-year member of the Rose-Harms American Legion Post 355 in Grafton. After the war, Harold would go on to work 34 years as a semi driver for Roundy’s Inc.
Some of Harold’s favorite pastimes included dancing to polka music, playing sheepshead, camping and traveling throughout the United States, as well as visiting with family and friends.
The family of Harold Walsh would like to thank the caregivers and activity programs at Harbor Cove Vitas Hospice.
A Mass of Christian burial took place at noon Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton.
The visitation included an American Legion walk-through service.
