Grafton Little League fields get some green to grow green

Grafton Little League in spring was given two checks totaling $20,000 from Elan Charitable Giving through Kohler Credit Union toward finishing an irrigation system. Kohler Credit Union, which partners with Elan for credit card services, chose Grafton Little League as one of its recipients. Community Engagement and Advocacy Manager Kirsten Coenen said when she was so surprised when she got the email about the donation she first thought it was spam. “We’re excited to create something lasting for future baseball players,” she said. Elan is in its fifth year of its giving program and has donated to more than 175 charities and logged more than 300 volunteer hours, Elan Vice President of Marketing Christine Tran said.  Photo by Mitch Maersch
