Teens to pound the pavement to raise money for scholarships

The Grafton Community Scholarship Fund will hold its 14th annual Grafton Give$ door-to-door drive from Friday, March 23, through Sunday, March 25.  

More than 100 student volunteers will be out in the Grafton School District asking for donations for this year’s drive. 

The success of Grafton Give$ relies on the cooperation and support from residents, students, parents, faculty and retired staff members, according to the program’s director Meg Canepa. 

This year’s goal is to raise $25,000 in scholarships. 

Last year, GCSF awarded 52 scholarships totaling $33,000.

For people who miss the door-to-door drive and would like to support the GCSF’s scholarship campaign, donations can be sent to:

Residents who wish to donate can also visit the GCSF webpage at http://ghs.grafton.k12.wi.us/parents/grafton_community_scholarship_fund, and donate to Grafton Give$ using PayPal.

GCSF would like to thank the following businesses for participating in the Dining for Dollars for Scholars during the month of March: Atlas BBQ, Bunkers at Edgewater Golf, Cousins Sub, EvenOdds Pizza, Firehouse Subs, Flannery’s at Fire Ridge, John’s Pizzeria, Juices Ghost Town, Noodles, Subway, and Quiznos.  

All proceeds will go directly to the Grafton Give$ campaign.
