GHS culinary students compete in gingerbread contest

Grafton High School students in teacher Brenda Stielow’s Advanced Foods class recently worked with architecture students to design gingerbread houses using computer-aided design software. The houses were constructed for the 23rd annual Gingerbread Festival Competition and will be on display through Dec. 30 at the Waelderhaus in Kohler. The competition is sponsored by the Kohler Foundation. Junior Ava Govek (top photo) worked on spreading icing for the roof of the house.
