Getting ready for school in Fredonia

The Northern Ozaukee School District in Fredonia hosted a back-to-school picnic Tuesday that gave students the chance to meet their teachers and get organized ahead of the beginning of classes on Sept. 1. Director of Business Services Josh McDaniel served burgers to students and their families (top).  Second-graders Everly (left in lower right photo) and Emi Jae Gensrick met teacher Jodi Plier.
