Getting a new view of Port High

With interior work in full swing, the new, central part of Port Washington High School С the second phase of a $45.6 million project С is taking shape. During a tour Monday, Paul Neumyer, a Port Washington alderman whose district includes the school, looked out what will be south facing windows in the upper cafeteria. An outdoor deck extends beyond the windows. The second phase of the project is to be completed by December. The first phase -- three-story academic wing built into the hill on the west side of the school --- was completed in April 2017. The final phase entails the renovation of the auditorium, which is scheduled to be completed next year.
