Gail Corine Schaller-Altendorf

Gail Corine Schaller-Altendorf of Cudahy, Wis., passed away on April 6, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of Jon Altendorf, who she married in 1985. They spent more than 40 years together.

She was the daughter of the late Heinz and Margaret Schaller and is further survived by her brother Darrell (Marilyn) Schaller, brothers-in-law Barry, Mark (Laurie) and Roger (Wendy) Altendorf and numerous other relatives and friends.

Tall, intelligent and full of life, Gail began her first career in nursing. Drawn to the theater, Gail later found work as a stagehand and seamstress for a number of productions in the Milwaukee area. Truly passionate about books, Gail also spent time writing for the local newspaper and volunteering at the local library. In the springtime she could always be found working in her lovely garden.

A graveside service will take place at Union Cemetery in Random Lake.
