Fredonia Lions will hold cornhole tourney

The Fredonia Lions will sponsor its fifth annual cornhole tournament on Saturday, June 27, at Jen’s Place, 504 Fredonia Ave.

Check-in and practice is at 11 a.m. with games starting at noon.

All ages are welcome. Competitive and social brackets are available.

Six games are guaranteed. Cash payouts will be based on the number of registrations. Trophies in each bracket will be given for first, second and third place.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and door prizes, raffle baskets and a 50/50 raffle will be held. Proceeds will go toward improvements in Fredonia parks.

Registrations will be accepted on the day of the tournament as well.

 Tuesday Tunes at Freedom Park will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. June 30. Pretty Sad When She’s Angry will perform. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
