Fredonia Lions Club honors outstanding students

The Fredonia Lions Club honored four high school seniors for their academic achievement as well as involvement in their schools and communities by presenting them with Outstanding High School Students of the Year awards at the club’s Wednesday, Jan. 28, meeting at 5 Pillars Restaurant and Banquet Hall in Random Lake. Posing with their awards were (from left) Ozaukee High School student Mason Schroeder, the son of Alex and Amy Schroeder; Random Lake High School student McKenzie Nejedlo, the daughter of Scott and Stephanie Nejedlo; and Ozaukee High students Chloe Dybul, the daughter of Mike and Laurie Dybul, and Maggie Hoffmann, the daughter of Jerry and Kate Hoffmann. Students are chosen for the award by administrators and teachers based on academics, involvement in activities, character and volunteer work in their schools and communities.                 Photo by Frank Peterson
