Fredonia Fun Day events rescheduled for Aug. 7

Fredonia Fun Day Before the Fourth was cancelled this year due to inclement weather.

The annual pre-Independence Day celebration was scheduled for Saturday, June 26,  but had to be rescheduled for Saturday, Aug. 7, after a rainy weekend.

The village-organized event will take place at Fireman’s Park and Oak Park from 1 to 10 p.m. and feature music, games and fireworks at dusk. Food and drink will also be available throughout the day.

Other Fredonia Fun Day activities planned last weekend included live blues music at the Waubeka Fire Hall, a bags tournament and an exhibition baseball game between children and parents. 

Details have not been released on the rescheduling of these events.
