Frederick J. Fedder Jr

Frederick J. Fedder Jr., a beloved father, grandpa and great-grandpa, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was 80 years old.
Fred was born on Feb. 28, 1946, in Port Washington, Wis., son of Frederick and Harriet (nee Dickmann) Fedder Sr.
He married the love of his life, Cheryl Swatek, on Nov. 6, 1970, in Port Washington. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home filled with laughter and love.
Fred dedicated many, many years of his life to his work as a machinist at Russell T. Gilman in Grafton, where his hard work and dedication were well respected.
Outside of work, Fred loved to go camping, watch sports and enjoyed cars. Above all, he cherished his time spent with family and friends.
He is survived by his children Karen (Scott) Erieau, Steve Fedder and Jason (Julie) Fedder.
Fred is further survived by eight wonderful grandchildren, eight loving great-grandchildren, his loving sister Rosemary (Paul) Buser, niece Melissa Buser, nephew Andy Buser and great-niece and nephew Samantha and Carson, other relatives and many friends.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Cheryl Fedder, daughter Cathy Ducharme and his brother Jimmy Fedder.
Per Fred’s wishes, no services will be held.
