Francis “Baldy” A. Wollner

Francis “Baldy” A. Wollner, 91, a former resident of Grafton, died at Forest Haven assisted living in Fredonia on Friday, June 22.
Mr. Wollner was born in Grafton on March 31, 1927, to Leo and Irene Paulin Wollner.
Mr. Wollner served as a private first class in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
On Aug. 28, 1948, he married Betty Jane “Mutz” Biever at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville. She preceded her husband in death in 2017.
Mr. Wollner is survived by his children Daniel (Barbara) of Plymouth and Carol (Dale Day) Barth of Saukville; grandchildren Lana (Matt) Spranger and Dana (Mitch) Reimer; and four great-grandchildren.
He is further survived by brother James (Val) of Grafton; and sisters-in-law Lorraine Biever of Port Washington and Marion Poklasny of Grafton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty Jane, sister Virginia Dickmann; brothers-in-law Fred Dickmann Jr., Harry Schneider, Harvey Biever, Florian Biever, Orville Biever and Everett Biever; and sisters-in-law Dolores Schneider, Rosemary Biever and Doris Biever.
A Mass of Christian burial took place Monday, June 25, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Forest Haven are suggested.
Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton handled the arrangements.
