Former supervisor named to County Board
The Ozaukee County Board last week voted to appoint Steven “Scott” Rishel to fill a vacancy on the board in the 14th District in the Village of Grafton.
The vacancy was created by the resignation of Lew Herro, who moved out of the district.
Rishel will serve out the remainder of Herro’s two-year term, which expires in April 2022.
Rishel served on the County Board from 2014 to 2018.
Rishel is the president and owner of Professional Control Corp., located in Germantown.
The 14th District consists of wards 5, 6, 7 and 8 in the Village of Grafton.
The Ozaukee County Board has 26 supervisors, each representing about 3,300 people. The board sets program priorities and county policies and determines county taxation through the annual budget process.
